THE ON-CAMPUS AND off-campus access links to the Lawtel platform have been updated in the Find Databases service, ahead of the hosting changes that Thomson Reuters are implementing tomorrow (Saturday 9 November 2019).
On-campus access remains direct; with off-campus access requiring a university username and password.
Those accessing the service from off-campus for the first time will have to complete a brief one-off registration process (see illustration below).
The issues preventing off-campus access to the Lawtel service (reported on 5 September 2014) have now been resolved.
Off-campus access to Lawtel is once again available by university username and password. On-campus access remains direct.
Details in Library OneSearch have been updated, and the service alert removed.
The library is working with the support team at Lawtel to resolve problems which are currently preventing off-campus access to the Lawtel service.
A note has been added to the Find Databases listing for Lawtel indicating that off-campus access is temporarily unavailable.
A further update will follow once off-campus access is confirmed as restored.
Access to the Lawtel service (which was previously by Athens username and password) is now direct on-campus and by university username and password off-campus. Links in prompts in eSearch have been updated accordingly. Please be aware that the access URL has changed as a result.
