Access to the streaming video service Kanopy has been enabled in the Find Databases section of Library OneSearch. Access to Kanopy is by university username and password. The library’s subscription to Kanopy provides patron driven acquisition access to all of the content discoverable by NTU staff and students, so any film listed on the platform can be viewed. New content is regularly added to the site, which will also be available to library customers by default.
Individual catalogue records for Kanopy film titles will be uploaded to Aleph, and made discoverable in Library OneSearch, shortly.
The resource is described as follows:
Kanopy is a video streaming service that provides access to more than 28,000 film and documentary titles across the disciplines of: the arts, business, education, global studies and languages, health, media and communications, sciences and social sciences, as well as instructional films and lessons.
Film content can be streamed to a wide variety of desktop and mobile devices, and can be embedded in web pages and other online applications.
